Before you ask
for a quote
Almost all the time lost on a commission is lost in the first two emails. Here is what we need to know, so the first one is already the right one.
What to send us
- If you have the model
- STL, OBJ or 3MF all work. If it came out of a CAD package, send the STEP: it keeps the exact dimensions and lets us adjust tolerances without rebuilding the part.
- If you saw it online
- Send us the link from MakerWorld, Printables, Thingiverse or wherever. You do not need to download anything or understand the format.
- If you have the logo
- As vector art: SVG, PDF, AI or EPS. A JPG pulled off a website will not engrave cleanly. We redraw it ourselves, and only charge separately when it is a crest with a lot of detail.
- If you have nothing
- A photo of the part with a ruler or a coin beside it, plus the measurements that matter to you. We model from that and show you the result before anything gets printed.
What we make it in
- PLA
- Trophies, awards, wedding favours and anything decorative. The best finish and the widest colour range. The one thing it will not survive is a day inside a car in the sun.
- PETG
- Parts that get used: replacements, brackets, signage, anything that lives outdoors. It takes heat, damp and knocks.
- Resin
- Miniatures and small parts where detail is the whole point. Sharper than any filament, at the cost of being more brittle and more expensive.
The limits
Up to 25 × 25 × 25 cm in a single piece. Above that we split it and join it, and on a finished part you can rarely tell. There is no minimum order: one is as welcome as three hundred. If the club or the wedding runs on a particular colour, tell us and we will find the closest filament.
